Grade level Tick Tocker Volunteer Opportunities

 

 

Philanthropy Representa1ve-Philanthropy Rep. will work together with your GLA in brainstorming and planning grade level philanthropy activities. You will be the liaison between the Ticktockers and the GLA’s in making sure that activities are in line with the goals and interests of the TT group. The philanthropy Rep. will also have the opportunity /option to work with the NCL Board 3 VP of philanthropy on projects and chapter level philanthropy events. This position requires a self-starter and motivated Ticktocker who can encourage participation of other grade level Ticktockers

 

Patroness Representa1ve-Are you interested in making sure that chapter meetings are meeting the needs of the Ticktockers? This position may be for you! The Patroness Rep. will work with the GLAs and 5th VP of Patronesses in providing input about chapter events and meetings. This position requires a TT who likes to work with adults and is able to express opinions and ideas. It also takes a TT who is able to listen and consider the patroness perspective.

 

Historian-Do you like to take pictures? Yes? Then NCL needs you!! Grab your camera and be in charge of documenting the happenings of your grade level events. Upload your pictures onto the Chapter Web and also send them in to be published in the monthly Blog.

 

Social Media Representa1ve-Facebook, twitter, snapchat expert? You can work directly with your GLA to bring them into the 21st Century in a responsible way! Help your grade level communicate with each other.

 

Etiquet Representative-Part of the NCL experience is understanding and learning about etiquet  Social media etiquet, RSVP etiquet, dining etiquet, phone and correspondence etiquet are all becoming a lost “art”. This position is looking for that Ticktocker who is able to keep us up to date on the dos and don’t in today’s culture.

 

Father-Daughter Event Representa1ve-Wish your Dad or “father-figure” could share your NCL experience once in awhile? This posi=on is perfect for you! The Father-Daughter Rep. will work with the F-D event coordinator in brainstorming some of the best op=ons for Ticktockers to include their Dad’s in the NCL experience.

 

Hospitality Representa1ve-Foodies wanted!! This position will work with the patroness hospitality chair in providing input for chapter meals. You can also get involved with working with your GLAs in planning and organizing food and snacks during Grade Level Meetings. Would you like to teach fellow grade level Ticktockers how to cook your favorite recipe? Plan a cooking event for your grade level! Ideas are endless. Unleash your creative ideas and bring it to your grade level group!

 

Inspiration Representative-Do you reflect and ponder life? Love to read? Enjoy sharing inspirational ideas and thoughts with friends? You may be the perfect person to be the Inspirational Rep for your grade level. You will be working with the President in opening your grade level meetings with an inspirational, story or just a comic moment!

 

Cultural Event Representative- One of the NCL pillars is CULTURAL experiences. The Cultural rep. will work with GLAs in finding some cultural experiences that would be fun for your grade level. You may even have a GRAND idea for the entire chapter!

 

Mother-Daughter Tea Representa1ve- This representative will represent your grade level in the planning and organizing of the annual chapter tea! You will be the communicator or liaison for your grade level. Part of your role will be to bring ideas from your grade level to the organizing committee. Fun, creative and expressive are great descriptions of of the person who may take on this job.

 

Parliamentarian- The TT grade level parliamentarian will be working with the grade level President, VP and Secretary during grade level meetings. This job is an important component of any meeting. The parliamentarian will open and close the meeting, make sure that everyone in the room is being heard and bring ideas to the group in the form of a motion which the group can then vote on. You will also be able to work with the Chapter Patroness Parliamentarian to learn how things work on the adult level. This representative should have an interest in “how meetings functon” and the rules and guidelines of the organization. Have you heard of Bylaws? How about policy and procedures of an organization? These are important components of all organizations. If you are interested in learning about this-this is the job for you!
